The Ford Bronco Sport: A Bronze Beauty That Turns Heads
A compact SUV with a stylish twist, the Bronco Sport is about to get even more appealing.
The Ford Bronco Sport, a lively and capable off-roader, is about to undergo a transformation for the 2026 model year. With the introduction of the Bronze Package, this peppy SUV is set to turn heads with its unique and stylish upgrades. But here's where it gets controversial: some might argue that the Bronco Sport already stands out, so why change a good thing?
Inspired by the Mustang and Mustang Mach-E, the Bronze Package adds a touch of sophistication to the Bronco Sport's exterior and interior. The package includes bronze accents on the badging, trim, and wheels, giving the SUV a distinctive look. The 17-inch wheels, finished in Sinister Bronze, are a standout feature, especially when paired with the Oxford White body color. However, this bronze treatment is not limited to just one color; it's also available with other popular choices like Shadow Black and Velocity Blue.
Inside the cabin, the bronze theme continues with accents on the HVAC vents, floor mats, and badging. The Canyon-colored stitching on the steering wheel and seats adds a subtle yet elegant contrast to the bronze details. It's a thoughtful and cohesive design choice that ties the entire package together.
The Bronze Package will be available on the Big Bend and Black Diamond Off-Road trims for the 2026 model year. While Ford hasn't disclosed the exact pricing yet, it's expected to be a reasonable upgrade over the standard models. For reference, the Bronze Appearance Package on the Mustang coupe is priced at $1,195, while it's $1,995 for the Mustang Mach-E. The full-size Bronco, through the Ford Custom Garage program, offers a similar package for a steep $5,200.
So, will the Bronco Sport's Bronze Package be priced closer to the Mustang's or the full-size Bronco's? Only time will tell. But one thing's for sure: the Bronco Sport with the Bronze package is an exciting prospect, and we can't wait to see it on dealership lots soon.
What do you think of the Bronco Sport's new look? Do you prefer the subtle sophistication of the Bronze Package, or do you think it's a step too far? Share your thoughts in the comments below! We'd love to hear your opinions on this controversial yet stylish upgrade.
