If you get approved for Swap.com, you’ll get both cash and Swap.com credit once you sell an item. Essentially, you’ll like the price of an item (usually various items) and then send those into Swap.com. For items listed under $8, you’ll get 15% of the price in cash plus 20% in Swap.com credit. For items over $8, that changes to 70% of the price in cash plus 20% in Swap.com credit.
Love the way Swap.com works but have lots of brand-name clothing to sell? Tradesy is similar in nature but is for high-end, brand-name clothing. This means that if you have lots of old Gucci or Louis Vuitton clothing and accessories in your closet, you’ll definitely want to sell them on Tradesy.
Aside from accepting high-end clothing, Tradesy also lets you sell accessories such as purses and shoes. But, you’ll find that pay-outs with Tradesy are a bit different than other seller platforms. If you list an item under $50 and it sells, Tradesy takes a $7.50 flat commission fee. If you list an item above $50, Tradesy will take 19.8% of the listing price.
