Like father, like son? It seems that Alastair, the 19-year-old son of Penny Lancaster and music legend Sir Rod Stewart, is quickly following in his dad's footsteps! A recent family outing showcased Alastair's striking resemblance to his famous father, both in stature and style.
The Stewart clan was spotted at the 80th annual Royal British Legion's Festival of Remembrance at London's iconic Royal Albert Hall, where Sir Rod was set to perform. In a heartwarming family photo shared by Penny, Alastair towered over his dad, even putting his arm around him, while also embracing his younger brother, Aiden.
Sir Rod, at 80 years old, was dapper in a classic black suit, complete with his knighthood medal, a testament to his decades of service to music and charity, which he received in 2016. Aiden, 14, sported a stylish outfit, showing his own fashion flair. But it was Alastair who truly stood out.
Alastair, the model, showed off his own style with slicked-back hair, a silver chain, a ring, earrings, and a black belt. He's clearly taking after his dad in more ways than one!
Penny, Sir Rod's wife of over 25 years, captioned the photo with a simple, sweet message: "My boys." The family picture, seemingly taken in front of a restaurant's bar, radiates warmth and affection.
But here's where it gets interesting...
Sir Rod Stewart's family is quite large. He has eight children in total! Alastair and Aiden are the youngest, born after Sir Rod and Penny's wedding in Italy in 2007. The couple welcomed Alastair in November 2005 and Aiden in February 2011. Sir Rod also has six other children from previous relationships: Sarah, Kimberly, Ruby, Renee, Sean, and Liam.
