@mrljp3 @LocastOrg That’s the problem. If they paid for the retransmit rights they would have to raise rates to remain viable, and then would be no better than existing packages. You can buy a local-channels-only package from Comcast, for example, but it certainly isn’t $5/mo.

@Xfinity Fix your infrastructure, people are paying for a service thats interrupted EVERY day. Customer service is a 2 star and reliability is a 1 star yet your made huge quarterly earnings last quarter.

Getting phone calls from “unavailable” saying they’re Comcast & want me to upgrade the cable box over the phone. When I ask why caller ID doesn’t say Comcast, they hang up. What kind of scam is this, and what can they possibly gain by me resetting/upgrading the cable box?

@comcast If Comcast were really interested in 'helping' then stop behaving like a nasty monopoly and offer real customer service for a change. Comcast's own incompetent L2 Support 'security recommendations' lead back to the cause for the Comcast over-billing that we are now experiencing.
